¿Qué es el Draft de la NFL?
El Draft es el proceso de reclutamiento de la National Football League (NFL), donde los equipos seleccionan a los jugadores elegibles que vienen del fútbol americano universitario de la National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
El formato actual consiste en siete rondas. Por lo tanto, 262 jugadores serán seleccionados durante tres días del Draft 2022. Serán 224 jugadores (32 por cada una de las siete rondas) más 30 conocidas como «selecciones compensatorias» por los agentes libres perdidos en la agencia libre de 2021.
Las posiciones son determinadas en orden inverso del récord de la campaña regular recién finalizada: el peor primero, el campeón de último. Este formato pretende dar paridad paridad en la NFL.
¿Qué necesita un jugador para ser elegible en el Draft?
Para que un jugador pueda ser elegible en el Draft de la NFL debe de haber pasado al menos tres campañas en el fútbol americano colegial de la NCAA. Aunque solo hayan jugado un par de campañas.
